Chili oil cooks. Chili crisp finishes. It adds crunch, texture, and a big hit of flavour after the cooking is done. Use chili crisp on eggs, toast, rice, pasta, lo mein noodles, even grilled cheese. A Spice Affair recommends storing the prepared infusion in a cool, dark place for up to 2 weeks.
