FAQs

Where do you get your products?

I buy products direct from Epicure Selections. I also purchase new, discontinued and seasonally vaulted products from former Epicure Ambassadors, or from their customers who want to declutter their cupboards.

If you buy products from former Epicure representatives and their customers, how do I know the products are of high quality?

All products purchased from former Epicure Selection Ambassadors or from their customers undergo a quality control check. It starts when I am in contact with a seller who is informed the products must be new, unopened and sealed. When the products arrive at my place they are checked to ensure that packets are sealed and not leaking, the plastic lid seals of jars are intact, and foil lids under the plastic caps are still sealed to the jars.

What is your Refund/Return policy?

Due to the nature of the products, returns are not possible. If, however, any product is found to be unsatisfactory I will gladly and quickly process a refund for the value of that product, no questions asked.

What is the shelf life of Epicure Selections products?

Epicure's dry mix blends are shelf stable for as much as three years, and longer in some cases. All herbs and spices and blends should be stored in a cool, dry place to ensure the best quality. The meal solutions or dip mixes in packets that I sell are sealed in zipper-lock bags and stored in a dry, cool "root cellar" type location. All products are stored in light- and humidity-controlled rooms.

I want to order something that is out of stock. When will it be available?

First, make sure you hit that Notify When Available button on the product page. You will receive an email once that product is again available to buy. Be aware, though, that some popular items sell out as soon as they are listed and notifications are sent out. As to when it will be available, that depends on how successful I am in finding the product from a former ambassador or an Epicure customer with just too much Epicure in their cupboards. I am constantly sourcing Epicure products and I have several contacts that I can call upon when something goes out of stock.

I want to order something that isn't listed. Can you find it for me?

You can use the Special Request Form to tell me what you are looking for and I will make every effort to find it by contacting the former reps I work with.

Where is my order?

You will have received an email confirming the shipment of your order with a tracking number. It you can no longer find that email, and you have set up a Member account, you can login to the shop and find the tracking number on your order record. If all else fails, use the Contact form or the Chat function, if it is available, and provide me with details of your order and I will send you the information.

Do the Epicure Selections gluten free baking products have to rest after mixing, and before baking?

The company has stated that, while most gluten free baking products require a resting stage after mixing of up to 30 minutes or more, their products do not require this resting stage, with the exception of the Pancake & Waffle Mix, for which a rest period following mixing of 30 minutes is suggested.

Are all Epicure products gluten free? Nut free?

Yes, all Epicure products are tested and verified gluten free. And all Epicure products are nut free; however, some products contain coconut.
