Dill Weed
Dill weed is made from the leaves of the dill plant, and has a fresh, grassy, slightly sweet flavour with hints of anise/licorice. Its most common application is with fish preparations, but it can also be used in salads and dips, with potatoes, or as a garnish. Dried dill weed is often used in soups and marinades.
