Bacon & Cheddar Biscuits

These gluten-free Bacon & Cheddar Biscuits combine Epicure's Quick Biscuit Baking Mix with Epicure's CCB Dip Mix (that’s cheese, chives, and bacon doing the heavy lifting), so every bite is loaded with bold, built-in flavour—no extra effort required.

Ingredients

1 egg 
2⁄3 cup milk, your choice
½ cup salted butter, cold 
1 pkg Quick Biscuit Mix 
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tsp CCB

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425° F. 
  2. In a small bowl, whisk egg with milk. Set aside.   
  3. Cube butter; place in a large bowl with biscuit mix. Using a fork or a pastry blender, cut the butter into the flour until it's the size of small peas. Mix in cheddar cheese and CCB.
  4. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients and stir until evenly moistened.
  5. Scoop dough into 8 mounds, about 1/4 cup each. Place on pan and bake until golden-brown, 17–20 min.
